Aby Musicians join Temple Emanu-El in Worship

Aby Musicians and Pastor Butts join Temple Emanu-El to commemorate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Temple hosts a special worship service on tomorrow, the Sabbath of Dr. King’s birthday. The Total Praise Ensemble and the United Voices of Abyssinian led the church’s music worship during the final service of 2015. As is the custom at Abyssinian for Watchnight Service, the Aby Musicians donned African attire and accents – exhibiting a wide array of rich, colorful fabrics, textiles and patterns. #blackjoy

Chaz will lead an arrangement of "Lord Prepare Me" sung with the Leon E. Thompson's Men's Chorus. Below is Chaz's bio and a clip of Chaz Chazdelivering powerful ministry with West Los Angeles COGIC! "Born in Philadelphia, PA., Chaz Shepherd is ever evolving in entertainment. Chaz is known for his roles in the movies "Set It Off", "The Temptations" and shows, "7th Heaven", "The Parkers", "Sister Sister" and more recently "The Game." Chaz is even more a Musician. An accomplished independent artist, he released his debut album in 2010 with the heavy support of Steve Harvey. He is the lead singer of the Grammy nominated record, "Lord Prepare Me" which he co-arranged on the West Angeles C.O.G.I.C release. Most of all, Chaz loves you."
